Photobiomodulation (LASER)
"From Pain to Play—With the Power of Light"
What is photobiomodulation?

Therapeutic LASER, or photobiomodulation, works by delivering specific wavelengths of red or near-infrared light into the body where it is absorbed by the mitochondria, the energy-producing structures within cells. This light energy stimulates the production of ATP (cellular energy), allowing cells to function more efficiently and accelerate repair processes. At the same time, the therapy helps reduce inflammation by decreasing inflammatory chemicals and promoting better circulation through vasodilation, which brings more oxygen and nutrients to the affected area. It also modulates pain by calming nerve activity and encouraging the release of endorphins, providing both immediate and longer-term relief. Additionally, LASER therapy stimulates tissue regeneration by increasing collagen production, fibroblast activity, and new blood vessel formation, all of which contribute to faster healing of muscles, joints, and soft tissues. Overall, it enhances the body’s natural healing ability in a non-invasive, drug-free way, making it especially effective for managing pain, reducing swelling, and improving recovery in both humans and animals
